Pay Range: $70,000 - $100,000
Expected Start Date: 2/15/25
POSITION SUMMARY: The Construction Superintendent position is part of the GRCO Development and Construction Team. This role will take part in the oversight and execution of construction projects as defined by ownership.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Oversee multiple projects including but not limited to residential construction, civil construction, renovation and Cap X improvements for GR’s ski and golf operations
- Participate in design, planning and WIP meetings for assigned projects
- Provide safety oversight for work being performed at Granby Ranch
- Coordinate with engineers, architects, town staff, and contractors as needed to keep projects moving forward
- Coordinate with MPEI and Xcel to ensure design and construction of utilities are ahead of residential construction schedules
- Track spending to ensure projects stay on budget
- Participate in punch walks with GR’s residential contractors
- Follow up with contractors and homeowners as needed during the warranty period
- Oversee GRCO’s storm water management plan
- Conduct routine inspections of GR’s home inventory

- Establish and maintain positive, productive, and professional relationships
- Act as a positive, professional role model, adhering to the company’s hospitality standards
- Other duties as assigned
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES:
- Intermediate to advanced excel proficiency
- Proficiency with Builders Software packages such as Procore, Builder Trend, etc. preferred
- Ability to effectively read structural and architectural drawings
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and best practices in residential and commercial construction
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal and external contacts throughout the project management process
- Ability to collaborate with department leaders to solve problems
- Ability to operate heavy equipment
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND CERTIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field preferred
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as a Superintendent or Project Coordinator in the residential construction industry
- Valid CO Drivers License
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Dexterity for utilizing keyboard
- Verbal and auditory abilities necessary for communication with others
