We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of linens and garments within our facility. This position is essential in ensuring that all laundry is cleaned, pressed, and presented to the highest standards, contributing to the overall guest experience in our hotel environment.
Duties
- Clean and launder various types of linens, towels, and garments using appropriate washing techniques and detergents.
- Operate and maintain laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and pressing machines.
- Sort, fold, and organize clean laundry for easy distribution to appropriate areas within the hotel.
- Ensure that all items are treated with care to prevent damage during the laundering process.
- Maintain a clean and organized laundry area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Assist with dry cleaning processes as needed, following established protocols for handling delicate fabrics.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or supply shortages to management promptly.
Experience
- Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with hotel operations or dry cleaning processes is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of laundry tasks.
