What are the responsibilities and job description for the GCU Golf Course - Outside Service Attendant (FWS/NFWS) position at Grand Canyon University?
The purpose of this position is to assist with running day to day operations at the GCU Golf Course and to provide first class customer service.
Responsibilities Related to Purpose:
Greet and assist customers in a positive, friendly manner.
Assist with check-in and fee collection.
Assist with selling merchandise and cleaning of golf shop.
Receive golf reservations over the phone.
Assist in tournament operations.
Pick and set up driving range.
Clean golf carts and golf cart storage area.
Set up golf staging area.
Qualifications:
Must be available to work over Summer.
Punctual.
Positive attitude.
Familiar with the game of golf.
Familiar with golf reservation system.
Familiar with golf cart charging procedures.
Must be able to work on some holidays and weekends.

Therefore, all applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements to be considered for student employment:
Enrolled at GCU as a full-time student in a Bachelor’s program or Master’s program.
Retain a 2.0 GPA as a Bachelor level student or a 3.0 GPA as a Master level student.
Maintain good financial and academic (SAP) standing with the University.
You may be subject to termination if you fall below the minimum requirements.
