The Event Audio Visual Supervisor will supervise and assist the team to ensure the smooth execution of campus events. Responsibilities include event operations, providing technical assistance, coordinating with vendors / event stakeholders, and supporting the overall purpose of the University Event Services department under the guidance of the Event Audio Visual Technology Team Manager.
What You Will Do :
- Oversee and operate Audio Visual equipment warehouse process for event use, including staging equipment for upcoming events and managing overall inventory of equipment.
- Assist Event Coordinators and department stakeholders in determining event needs and provide support as a liaison between vendors and the organization for technical rentals, including equipment and labor requirements for events.
- Help manage event work orders and calendar of events to ensure that all needs are adequately addressed in a timely manner.
- Supervise and develop training plans and strategies for Audio Visual student workers.
- Ability to setup, assist, operate, and execute Audio Visual responsibilities of events as needed.
- Assist with coordination of corrective and preventative maintenance for all Event-related audio-visual equipment.
- Other duties as assigned.
