As the Summit Ambassador at Grand Casino Mille Lacs, you will play a key role in redefining our mid-tier gaming experience.
The Opportunity
This role is perfect for a multi-skilled professional who excels in providing exceptional Guest service, light technical support, and food & beverage services in an exclusive environment designed for our Ignite-level players. This role is a tipped position, where providing exemplary service and building strong relationships with Guests will directly impact your compensation.
What You Get to Do :
- Provide prompt, courteous, and efficient service to Guests, ensuring their needs are met while enjoying slot machine play with friendly greetings, eye contact, and smiles. Address and resolve inquiries ensuring Guests leave with a positive parting comment.
- Respond efficiently to jackpot notifications and perform basic troubleshooting resets and post-jackpot functions to keep slot machines in optimal working condition minimizing downtime.
- Understand and manage the technical aspects of slot machines and related equipment following all necessary procedures to ensure proper service functions and equipment efficiency.
- Leverage knowledge of beverage menus and offerings to apply suggestive selling techniques, enhancing the Guest's gaming experience.
- Ensure accountability for assigned company assets by following internal controls and obtaining necessary authorizations.
- Provide exemplary food and beverage service, including managing beverage preparation using a smart bar system and maintaining the cleanliness of The Summit Room, coordinating with cleaning staff as necessary.
- Answer Guest questions, direct concerns to appropriate management, and promptly fulfill Guest requests to enhance their experience. Resolve challenges courteously in line with department standards.
- Uphold a high standard of personal appearance and professionalism that reflects the exclusive nature of The Summit Room while customizing service by understanding Guest preferences and recommending games, promotions, and food & beverage options.
- Assist in coordinating and executing exclusive VIP events such as private parties and tournaments, serving as the primary liaison to ensure VIP Guests' needs are met and their experiences are exceptional.
- Maintain open lines of communication with Associates, Supervisors, and other departments to ensure smooth operations, promoting teamwork and collaboration.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, sanitary area in accordance with health regulations and side work, including opening / closing duties as needed.
- Understand and apply knowledge of the Dram Shop Act, including Servers' responsibilities and rights.
- Perform other assigned duties related to this role contributing to the overall success of the department.
