Grand County Sheriff's Office is Hiring Full & Part-Time Dispatchers!
Starting at $27.52 / hour. Additional $2.00 / hour shift differential for hours worked outside of business hours (7am-5pm).
Dispatchers work 12 hour shifts for a total of seven days in a two-week period allowing you to enjoy three days off one week and four days off the next. We cover the clock 24 hours a day. Time and a half overtime is paid for all hours worked over 80. All uniforms are provided and frequent overtime shifts are available. On the job training is provided as only a High School Diploma or GED is required. Dispatchers are paid to talk on the phone and radio, some conversations are critical lifesaving calls and many chats are pleasant, helping serve the citizens of Grand County. Dispatchers play a crucial role within law enforcement and public safety. Dispatchers are heroes and know they make a difference in the lives of others every single day.
