Grand Design RV is currently looking for a Motorized Rain Bay Technician. As a Grand Design team member in this role, you will conduct Motorized Quality Tests and train in Compliance for the motorized product.

Key Areas of Responsibility
- Responsible for completing and documenting Air Make Up Test for Each Unit Built
- Responsible for completing and documenting Rain Bay Test for each unit built
- Responsible for inspecting each incoming paint unit and documenting findings
- Communicate failures in each of the previous tasks and verify repairs
- Responsible for compiling and sending out daily offline report and required documentation for Plant 15
- Washing and Lining units up for paint inspection
- Learn GDRV Motorized quality and compliance standards from the Quality and compliance team including items from the GDRV Always/Never Book, Testing Process and RV Codes
- Take direction from Quality Manager if additional items need to be inspected
- Assist Quality Manager with final checks of shortage and repair units after production or on non-production days
- Need to be self-motivated and willing to dig in and learn
Education & Experience
- Prior QC/ RV experience preferred
- Able to use Basic Hand Tools
- Strong Verbal Communication Skills
Physical Demands
- Able to bend, lift and go up and down ladders/stairs repeatedly
- Must complete fall training
- Able to move quickly when working online
- Able to lift 5 to 40 pounds
- Able to work early hours in a manufacturing environment
