Job Description:
Semi-skilled and skilled manual work in the performance of laboring tasks and variety of maintenance and construction related work, with a focus on concrete projects.
Performs maintenance services and conduct minor repairs on buildings and equipment. Performs a variety of semi-skilled duties in the areas of plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering, machine servicing, electrical, or vehicle servicing, as assigned by Operations Manager or Field Supervisor. Comply with established safety guidelines and procedures. Responsible for performing a variety of concrete-related tasks including the installation, repair, and maintenance of sidewalks, curbs, gutters, and other concrete structures within the community.
- Performs maintenance services and conducts minor repairs on buildings and equipment.
- Executes concrete projects including forming, pouring, finishing, and repairing concrete surfaces.
- Constructs and maintains sidewalks, curbs, gutters, and other related structures.
- Prepares work sites by excavating, grading, and setting forms for concrete pours.
- Performs a variety of semi-skilled duties in areas such as plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering, machine servicing, electrical, or vehicle servicing, as assigned.
- Ensures safe work practices are followed on all job sites.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledgeable in concrete mixing, pouring, finishing, and curing techniques.
- Knowledge of safety procedures required for concrete construction and general maintenance.
- Experience operating tools and equipment used in concrete work (e.g., mixers, saws, floats, trowels, and compactors).
- Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with supervisors and co-workers.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to complete projects efficiently and accurately.
- Ability to carry out assignments with minimal supervision.
- Physical ability to perform heavy manual labor, including lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to work at heights up to 8 feet.
- Ability to work in temperatures exceeding 100 degrees for extended periods of time.
Physical Requirements:
- While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, use hands to fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Occasionally required to push and/or pull over 100 pounds.
- Exposure to outdoor elements, including heat exceeding 100 degrees, cold temperatures, fumes, airborne particles, and chemicals.
- Work near moving mechanical parts and electrical or fuel-operated equipment.
Education, Experience, and Training:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of concrete experience, including forming, pouring, and finishing concrete.
- Valid State of Florida Driver’s License required.
Licenses, Certifications, or Registrations:
- Must possess and maintain a valid Florida Driver’s License.
