We have an exciting opportunity for you to join Grand Itasca as a Paid Radiology Student Intern!
This paid internship program provides interns the opportunity to develop technical skills, build confidence in their abilities, and better prepare them for their future in Diagnostic Imaging. The internship rotation is intended to help prepare for national certification and future employment at Grand Itasca upon successful completion of the internship program!

There are three program options:
1st year Tech Program:
- Successful completion of first semester of Radiology Tech program
- Must be enrolled and completing second semester of Radiology Tech program.
- Work as Radiology Tech intern a minimum of 16-hours per month
- Work towards obtaining X-Ray Operator certification as eligible.
2nd year Tech Program:
- Enrolled and completing second year of Radiology Tech program
- Work as a X-Ray Operator intern a minimum of 16 hours per month
3rd year Tech Program:
- Enrolled and completing final year of Radiology Tech program
- Works as X-Ray Operator intern a minimum of 16 hours per month
Upon graduation, Interns will transition into a benefit eligible Rad/CT Tech position!
Minimum qualifications:
- Enrolled Radiologic Technology student, with one semester of successful completed coursework, and intent to complete Radiologic Technology program.
- Ability to work a minimum of 16-hours per month on-site.
- Complete and acquire Limited Scope X-Ray Operator certification within eligibility to take the exam.
- Basic Life Support certified or obtain within 4 months.
- Good computer skills.
- Good interpersonal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to follow and adhere to Grand Itasca Clinic and Hospital policies, vision, mission and values.
- Maintains reliable and consistent attendance.
*This position provides one flat hourly rate, with regular reviews to ensure competitiveness with the market.
