Position Highlights:

Responsibilities:
- Assists the pharmacist in tasks associated with patient care.
- Effectively manages supplies of the department.
- Operates and maintains automated dispensing devices.
- Provides advanced services such as hazardous drug compounding and investigational drug therapy.
- Compounds medications in accordance with state law and policy. Perform calculations as necessary for
accurate compounding. - Prepares complex sterile compounded IV products, including daily batch orders, stat and other emergency
medications and TPN formulations. - Initiates and maintains prior authorization activities for oral and intravenous medications.
- Assists patients demonstrating financial need with applications for medication assistance programs.
- Complete patient medication histories and reconciliations as assigned.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent with at least two (2) years pharmacy technician experience preferred, but not required.
- Pharmacy technician certification with the Colorado State Board of Pharmacy.
Compensation:
- $21.00 - $24.15 per hour, depending on education and experience.
- Discretionary bonuses, relocation expenses, merit increase, market adjustments, recognition bonuses, and other forms of discretionary compensation may be available.
Additional Information:
- Relocation: Must relocate to Grand Junction, CO 81505 before starting work.
