Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated School Program Staff to join our team in providing a nurturing and educational environment for children. This role involves working closely with children, facilitating activities, and ensuring a safe and engaging atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage with children during various activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Assist in planning and implementing educational programs that promote childhood development.
- Support classroom management by maintaining a positive learning environment.
- Provide tutoring assistance to students who require additional help with their studies.
- Implement behavior management strategies to address individual needs effectively.
- Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and fellow staff members regarding children's progress and needs.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the classroom and activity areas.
Skills
- Experience in daycare or early childhood education settings is preferred.
- Strong understanding of childhood development principles and practices.
- Ability to manage a classroom effectively while maintaining a positive atmosphere.
- Experience working with children through tutoring, babysitting, or similar roles.
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques to support diverse learning needs.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with children, parents, and staff members effectively.
