Duties and Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the delivery of patient care in all Physician Practices through the clinical process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.

• Directs and guides patient teaching and activities of ancillary clinical personnel.

• Collaborates and interacts positively with providers and other medical practice staff to provide quality care and achieve desired outcomes.

• May be required to support clinical colleagues according to patient volumes/acuity.

• Completes clinical assessments of patient by completing history of present disease and illnesses with accuracy and documents appropriately in patient electronic medical record.

Requirements 

• Flexibility in scheduling to meet department needs.

Education/Certifications 

• Medical Assistants should be graduated from a Medical Assistant Program or graduating within 6 months of hire.

• Certified Medical Assistant through AAMA or other certifying body as deemed acceptable by the Practice Manager or will obtain this credentialing within 6 months of hire.

• RN or LPN must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

• Current license to practice nursing in the State of Ohio. 

Experience 

• Previous medical practice experience preferred, but not required.
