Job Overview
As a Front Office Administrator, you will be the face of our dental practice, responsible for delivering excellent customer service and ensuring a smooth patient experience. We are looking for someone with a positive and take initiative personality to bring to our already amazing team. Your primary focus will be on coordinating patient appointments, educating patients about their insurance, managing administrative tasks, and supporting the overall operations of the office.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in procedures.
- Manage patient appointments efficiently, ensuring optimal scheduling for both the patients and the dental practitioners.
- Serve as the main point of contact for patients, addressing inquiries via phone, email, or in-person interactions, providing exceptional customer service at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, manage patient files, and handle administrative tasks such as patient registration, insurance verification, and billing processes.
- Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient flow, assist in treatment plan coordination, and follow up on patient appointments and referrals.
- Explain treatment costs, process insurance claims, and assist patients with financial arrangements and payment plans when necessary.
Experience
- At least 2 years of demonstrated experience in a customer service or related role.
- Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures is a plus
- Proficiency in using office software and basic computer skills.
- Insurance knowledge is also a plus
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a friendly and empathetic approach towards patients.
