Below you will find an overview of the day-to-day responsibilities of Administrator:
SUMMARY:
Responsible for the efficient day-to-day operation of the Grand Oaks of Jensen Beach Assisted Living. Ensures that effective administrative procedures are followed, and adequate staffing levels are maintained. Analyzes needs, develops programs, recommends expansions, and implements policies with a goal of improving facility operation. Assures compliance with facility and management policies and procedures. Assures that facility meets all regulatory mandates. Participates in long range financial and management planning for the facility.
Supervises and conducts management studies to improve and simplify work flow and operating methods. Assures that the facility meets all regulatory mandates. Ensures that onsite procedures are in accordance with facility policy and that effective administrative procedures are followed. Assures that facility meets all regulatory mandates.
Responsible for the growth and generation of new business and customer satisfaction in the facility. Manages the nursing, sales, activity, administrative, housekeeping and maintenance staff by setting goals and objectives.
In conjunction with the Human Resources Department, recruits new employees to assure adequate staffing levels. Assists with the orientation of new employees and assures that employees and/contractors are compliant with State, Federal and Agency requirements.
Assures compliance with facility financial and management policies and procedures. Exercises expenditure controls. Assists in preparation of annual budget for facility and monitors financials against the budget.
Process all new Resident contracts, paperwork and assessments. Assigns staff to assist new Residents with move in.
Ensures that professional standards of practice are maintained by all staff including nurses, caregivers, housekeepers, activity, sales, food service, maintenance and administrative. Ensures quality and safe delivery of health care services to residents.
Assists in the development of facility policies, goals, and objectives. Analyzes and interprets facility policies and procedures to staff and is responsible for the effective implementation of policies, procedures, and the pursuit of goals and objectives.
Oversees Agency for Health Care Administration bi-annual state survey. Oversees Ombudsman inspections and all required facility inspections.
Meets with resident and/or responsible party when resident has had a significant change in condition and will closely monitor for appropriateness.
Keeps the Chief Executive Officer informed on the status of facility operations to include potential problem areas and recommendations for appropriate actions.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
