What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Interface Analyst position at Grand River Health?
BASIC FUNCTION: Responsible for assisting in the development and support of the multiple interfaces and interface engines used to share information between many healthcare related systems (including but not limited to: MEDITECH, Pyxis, PACS and other additional related clinical software applications and HIE). This position provides training to GRHD staff as needed, assists in the implementation and testing of various interfaces and system updates and other duties as assigned in multi-facility, multi-campus environment.
- Analyzes user/system needs, requirements, procedures and problems relevant to information system programs to automate processing and improve functionality of interface engine and point-to-point interfaces used by clinical system programs of the Healthcare Information Systems (HCIS).
- Evaluating, designing, developing, testing, implementing, and maintaining the feature/functions are a few of the opportunities available in this position.
- Leads/manages assigned projects.
- Performs a variety of tasks and other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Hybrid work available, but must be located in Colorado
- Direct experience required in the use and support of interfaces and interface engines.
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience (or equivalent) implementing and supporting interfaces.
- Knowledge and experience in clinical system interfaces considered a significant plus.
SALARY INFORMATION:
- $30.00 - $79.00 Dependent on experience may vary outside this range
- Compensation may vary outside this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience
