Duties

- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the OpenTable system or cash register.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the dining area, including bussing tables efficiently.
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items, promoting specials and upselling when appropriate.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring satisfaction with their dining experience.
- Adhere to food safety guidelines to maintain a safe dining environment for all guests.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down dining areas for events or busy service periods.
Experience
- Previous experience in a server or hospitality role is preferred but not required.
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively within a team environment.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Familiarity with cash registers or point-of-sale systems is advantageous.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is essential.
