Position Overview:
Banquet houseperson is responsible for overall timing, organizing, execution and evaluation of all banquet functions. It is their role to ensure cleanliness and order of all banquet facilities, both front and back-of-the-house.

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Tear-down and set up of the meeting and event rooms, daily
- To inspect all public areas (foyer, assembly areas, restrooms) for cleanliness and pleasing appearance
- Inspects each function room prior to, and during breaks to ensure that all requirements reflected on the daily worksheets are met
- Supports a strong commitment to world class guest service and ensures a pleasant and enjoyable dining experience for restaurant patrons
- Ensure meeting rooms/areas are properly set and all necessary equipment is in place
- Regularly inventory and maintain all related equipment
- Continuously strive for complete guest satisfaction – including cooperating with guests and others for last minute changes/additions
- May assist in serving duties when required.
- Other duties may be assigned
Job Requirements:
- Ability to manage time well, meet imposed deadlines and ability to work flexible hours
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Team player and positive attitude. Must exceed guest expectations.
- Attention to details, action-oriented, approachable, integrity, functional/technical skills.
- The position requires the ability to lift over 50 pounds occasionally.
- This position requires the ability to stand, walk (6-7 hours at a time), and climb stairs, reach & bend.
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or GED
- Hospitality and/or banquet experience preferred.
