Position Overview: Are you ready to take your love for golf and service to the next level? As a Golf Beverage Cart Server at Grand View Lodge, you’ll cruise along scenic cart paths, ensuring guests are refreshed and enjoying their time at our beautiful courses. Whether it’s a cold drink, a light snack, or a friendly chat, you’ll be the highlight of their golfing experience. Your mission? Serve up smiles, quench thirsts, and keep the good times rolling!
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Keep it Cool: Know your beverages like the back of your hand. Be ready to chat about drink options, prices, and all things refreshing!
Pour it Perfect: Serve up drinks, ask if they need a refill, and make sure our guests stay hydrated and happy.
Beverage Cart TLC: Give your trusty cart some love with routine maintenance and minor repairs. Keep it rolling smoothly, no one wants a breakdown on the back nine!
Cash in, Cheers Out: Present checks, process payments, and get those signatures—keep the business side as smooth as the greens.
Stock Up & Roll Out: Keep your cart stocked with ice, drinks, and napkins. Restock as needed to ensure you’re ready for the next group.
Beverage Guru: Provide guests with info on the finer details—year of production, presentation tips, and fun facts about their drinks.
Shiny & Clean: Keep your cart looking pristine, fueled, and ready to go. End your shift by parking it properly and ready for the next round.
Track Your Stock: Keep a keen eye on inventory. Know what you’re taking and what’s coming back, and maintain a daily count.
Job Requirements:
Must be 18 years or older (you know, for the whole serving alcohol thing).
Ability to stand and walk for 6-7 hours at a time, and handle a bit of climbing, bending, and reaching.
Lift over 50 pounds occasionally (You’re a pro at restocking and lifting those ice bags!).
Cool under pressure—this job requires a calm and collected demeanor, even when the sun's out and the drinks are flowing.
Prior customer service experience is a plus! But more than anything, we love someone who enjoys chatting and making others feel welcome.
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or GED (or one year of equivalent experience).
Basic knowledge of alcohol and previous serving experience is preferred but not required (training provided).
Ready to join the team? If you’re enthusiastic, enjoy the outdoors, and have a passion for providing top-tier customer service, this might just be the job for you! Come join us at Grand View Lodge, where the drinks are cold, the courses are beautiful, and every day is a hole-in-one.
