Beverage Cart Attendant

Job Summary
The Beverage Cart Attendant plays a vital role in enhancing the customer experience by providing excellent service and a variety of beverage options. This position involves operating a beverage cart in designated areas, ensuring that guests are served promptly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and have a keen ability to upsell products while maintaining a friendly and welcoming demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Serve a variety of beverages to guests, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation.
• Operate the beverage cart in assigned areas, maintaining cleanliness and organization at all times.
• Handle cash transactions accurately using a cash register and POS system, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Assist customers with their beverage selections, providing recommendations and upselling additional items when appropriate.
• Maintain inventory levels on the cart, restocking supplies as needed to ensure availability of products.
• Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise during service.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and high levels of guest satisfaction.

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
• Experience with cash handling and operating a cash register or POS system is preferred.
• Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing and change calculation.
• Ability to upsell products effectively to enhance sales opportunities.
• Previous experience in a café, quick service fast food restaurant, or grocery store is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
• A friendly and approachable demeanor that contributes to a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
