Position Overview:
Responsible for providing excellent, memorable assistance to our guests as well as fellow staff members. The role is multi-faceted, helping guests and staff with transportation, amenity and luggage delivery, housekeeping/maintenance requests and other special projects. This position is critical to the Ranch’s success, as it is the “go to” role when scheduled.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Provides luggage assistance to guests checking in
- Provides transportation and delivery services to guests (typically via golf cart)
- May deliver items included but not limited to: towels, rollways, cribs, shampoo, hairdryers, fans
- Role may be called upon to assist with air-conditioning settings, clogged toilets, light bulb changes or anything of such room-oriented guest needs
- Expected to regularly stock pool towels at each pool area; change all property trash cans
- Role removes soiled spa linen and drops off to housekeeping
- Role may deliver kindling & firewood to guests (and may be expected to start fires in fireplaces)
- Role cleans golf carts and vans when needed
- Role conducts walk-throughs of all areas
- Special projects may include carpet shampooing, door entry polishing, breaking down wedding venues
- Resolve guest complaints within scope of authority; otherwise refer the matter to the management.
- Follow security and safety standards at all times.
- Other duties may be assigned

- Ability to manage time well, meet imposed deadlines and ability to work flexible hours
- Proven problem solving skills with ability to maintain composure in stressful situations.
- The position may also require the ability to lift over 80 pounds occasionally.
- This position requires the ability to stand, and, walk, 4 to 5 hours at a time, climb stairs, reach, and bend.
- High degree of professional and personal integrity
- Excel & word knowledge a plus
- Strong computer skills a huge plus
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or GED and two years guest service experience preferably in the hospitality industry.
