Grandma Hoerner's Foods, Inc. is a bottling processing facility that has a team that creates and produces natural and organic delicious foods. We have been providing our products for our nation’s top grocery retailers for over 30 years.
We are currently looking for a detail-oriented and analytical IT and Inventory Control Specialist to join our team. We offer an opportunity to work with a company that has stability and resources for long-term employment.
Responsibilities:
· Design and development: Create new computer systems, networks, and applications
· Troubleshoot: Identify and fix technical problems with software and hardware
· Support users: Help users with computer and network issues
· Maintain systems: Ensure systems are running smoothly and securely
· Analyze needs: Identify user needs and requirements
· Implement solutions: Deploy IT solutions to address problems
· Manage projects: Oversee projects and ensure deadlines are met
· Protect data: Safeguard data and information from cyberattacks
· Create policies: Develop and implement security policies and data privacy regulations
· Maintain oversight of daily inventory disposition
· FIFO of all ingredients and finished goods
· Inventory management systems
· Ensure correct allocation of goods for shipment
· Assist in conducting monthly inventory of goods and supplies
· Review diagnostics and assess the functionality and efficiency of systems
· Implement security measures
· Monitor security certificates and company compliance of requirements
· Offer technical support to company staff and troubleshoot computer problems
· Install and update company software and hardware as needed
· Anticipate and report the cost of replacing or updating computer items
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or mathematics
- · Highly detail orientated
- · Ability to operate in a systematic and logical manner while making good decisive decisions based on

- o Problem solving and all-around good judgment skills.
- · Excellent written and verbal communications.
- · Excellent mathematical ability
- · Creation of documents/reports spread sheets utilizing the following Microsoft products.
- o Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.
- · Inventory processes and techniques.
- · Raw materials handling
- · Quality systems and standards
- Experience with operating systems, networks, and data communications
- Knowledge of scripting languages
