The Role:
Grandpa Joe's Candy Shop is seeking an experienced Warehouse Lead for the second shift at our Operations Support & Distribution Center in Robinson Township. You'll work 5 days per week, playing a crucial role in both our Wholesale Shipping Department and Retail Store Replenishment team.
As a Warehouse Lead – Second Shift, you'll lead team members for inventory replenishment, pick and pack products, assist in order execution, and ensure efficient inventory management. Operation of a forklift and other powered equipment is required; certification is preferred. Independence and minimal supervision are key. Communication and leadership are crucial as you'll be the main point of contact to lead and exceed productivity targets while working closely with team members and managers. This role is critical for both our Retail Stores and expanding Wholesale business.
Grandpa Joe's Candy Shop is seeking an experienced Warehouse Lead for the second shift at our Robinson Township location. You will work 5 days per week and lead the warehouse team, processes, and play a key role in implementing a new inventory & ordering control system.
The Warehouse Lead will work closely with team members and managers to meet and exceed productivity standards. Communication and leadership are crucial as you'll be the main point of contact. This role is critical for both our Retail Stores and expanding Wholesale business.
We rely on our Warehouse Leads to be responsible for the health and safety of our team members. Previous & extensive experience working within a warehouse and an absolute understanding of the basic operations of a warehouse are required. Training & experience in fundamental warehouse operations, OSHA regulations, and forklift certification is preferred.

Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations of the warehouse, including goods in, order fulfillment, and goods out.
- Oversee receiving, replenishment, and warehousing operations in line with our company’s standards, policies, and vision.
- Implement operational policies and procedures to ensure efficient flow of operations and utilization of space.
- Lead a team of warehouse staff including performance management, training, and development.
- Ensure effective and safe use of warehouse equipment.
- Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene, and security in the work environment.
- Review and prepare workflow, manning, and space requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain stock control systems.
- Plan and implement logistical strategy, ensuring targets are met.
Job Requirements:
- Team Leader with proven track record in a warehouse environment.
- Proven work experience as a Lead or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Excellent understanding of warehouse management procedures.
- Proficient knowledge of inventory and inventory controls.
- Forklift experience & certification.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent leadership skills and the ability to manage staff.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Salary : $18 - $20
