What You'll be Doing:
- Provides high-level administrative support to the Superintendent of Schools.
- Acts as a liaison between the Superintendent and stakeholders.
- Coordinates school board functions.
- Manages assigned programs or projects.
- This position requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality in all aspects of work.
- The Executive Assistant will handle various administrative duties, coordinate meetings, and assist with communication related to the Superintendent’s office.
What We Offer:
- Salary: $32.43 to $37.04 an hour D.O.E. (longevity steps after 11 years of service)
- Personal Leave: Three days personal leave each year
- Vacation: 12 days for 1-3 years service, 13 days for years 4-6, 14 days years 7-9, 15 days years 10-14, 20 days for 15 years of service.
- Holidays: 12 paid holidays
- Medical Insurance: through Washington State School Employees Benefits Board (SEBB) Program allocation
Job Details:
- Working days: 5 days per week / 260 days a year
- Hours per day: 8 hours

What You'll Need:
- Education & Experience: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred: Associate of Arts degree with advanced training in Human Resources management, computer applications, and business or public administration, plus three years of successful administrative support experience. A combination of college coursework, technical training, and related work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Preferred: Successful business administration experience, including office management and the independent preparation of complex materials.
- Preferred: Spanish bilingual (speak, read, and write); Skyward /Qmlativ experience.
- Minimum qualifications: Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
- Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, operate office equipment and software, coordinate projects, and maintain records. Proficient with Microsoft and Google suites. Bilingual/biliterate in Spanish preferred.
- Knowledge: Proficiency in grammar, punctuation, and office procedures; expertise with Skyward/Qmlativ software preferred.
- Abilities: Schedule and coordinate activities, analyze data, solve problems, communicate effectively, maintain confidentiality, and work with diverse groups.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, Google Workspace, and other computer applications.

Work Environment
The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling, some climbing and balancing, some stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling and some fine finger dexterity. Generally the job requires 30% sitting, 40% walking, and 30% standing. The job is performed under minimal temperature variations and in a generally hazard free environment.
