We are looking for someone with at least 2 years in a medical administrative or office experience (required, please do not apply if this does not apply)
This is a front desk position as a Patient Care Coordinator

Schedule:
4 days per week at minimum Monday - Thursday 8am - 5 pm (hour lunch break in between most days).
We require your positive attitude when you come to work, punctuality, and upbeat energy. We also are looking for someone who always comes in happy and motivated to accomplish things for the day. We want someone that comes in happy and leaves even happier.

What will be some of your daily tasks? (see below)
1. Greet patients with a smile as they walk in the door and place them in patient rooms. Sometimes helping with turnover of rooms after appointments.
2. Answer phones with a smile; retrieve and respond to patient requests
3. Data entry including patient demographics, insurance, miscellaneous notes, payments and other related information. Understanding how insurance works.
4. Use printer/fax machine to print, receive, and send correspondence
5. Perform routine office tasks including filing, faxing, scanning, restocking office supplies
6. Check in/out patients (verify necessary information and record in the medical record)
7. Schedule and Re-schedule appointments. Answer patient questions via on the phone and voicemail and in person.
8. Obtain copays and other payments by using a credit card machine and posting payments to accounts and working directly with our biller. Maintain cash drawer and inventory/balance sheet. Keep daily record of all transactions performed during the day.
9. Ensure lobby reception and clinic rooms areas are clean, presentable, and organized. All staff help with cleaning. Assist with routine sanitization throughout the office.
10. Completing and filling out patient paperwork including FMLA forms, disability and worker's compensation forms, and referral forms.
11. Be a direct liaison with our billers to answer patient's concerns and questions. Submit Explanation of Benefits forms and patient payments online and through our processing systems.
12. Assist your coworkers with end of day tasks and when one may be off for vacation.

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 36 per week
