GENERAL SUMMARY
This position prepares finished product by means of wrapping, banding, and staging in order to get it ready for shipment. This position may require loading and unloading trucks/trailers by use of forklift; in addition to delivering product or incoming shipments to offices or other departments internally. This position requires safe work practices including formal forklift training. Housekeeping tasks will be warranted when necessary.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Prepares finished product to be loaded onto the trucks by banding and wrapping them, with an emphasis on quality.
- Loads and unloads trucks. Stages and bills materials in designated areas and loads shipments in trailers.
- Collects and delivers product containing printed or non-printed material, adhering to good safety practices in carrying out duties.
- Delivers materials to work areas as directed, including ink totes and paper rolls.
- Responsible for communicating daily job status and needed information to forklift drivers on other shifts.
- Performs vehicle maintenance and housekeeping.
- Completes daily forklift checklists at the start of every shift for OSHA/MiOSHA compliance.
- Complies with safety standards and regulations required by OSHA/MiOSHA.
- Sweeps warehouse floor daily.
- Aware of status of jobs in process to assist customer service, management, and customers.
- Performs other duties as requested.

- Printing knowledge; preferably within a manufacturing environment
LICENSE OR CERTIFICATE REQUIRED
- None
EXPERIENCE OR TRAINING REQUIRED OR PREFERRED
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of forklift driving experience
- Minimum 1 year of printing process experience, preferred
- Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) training for forklift and electronic skid jack use
