GENERAL SUMMARY
A sales and marketing manager is responsible for researching and developing marketing opportunities and planning and implementing new sales objectives. The sales and marketing manager will also manage both the marketing and the sales staff and will perform managerial duties to meet the company's operations goals.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Leads and mentors a team of sales and marketing professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Provide guidance, set objectives, and evaluate team performance
- Oversees day-to-day sales in addition to the sales process beginning with lead generation through the close of the deal. Monitors and forecasts to better understand the market
- Monitor sales & marketing performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement effective sales tactics & marketing strategies
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing strategies that align with Grandville Printing’s business goals. Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth
- Works collaboratively with the sales team to assess current projections
- Owns ultimate responsibility for successfully meeting or exceeding sales goals
- Collaborates with marketing team to creatively reach more potential customers
- Takes calculated risks to increase profitability and brand recognition
- Oversees the design and implementation of marketing campaigns to promote our products and services. Manages marketing budgets, tracks campaign effectiveness, and adjusts strategies as needed.
- Works in a hands-on fashion, building the team to provide motivation and inspiration and sets a good example for the team by leading through the Company’s Core Values
- Prepares and presents regular reports on sales and marketing performance to senior management. Use data-driven insights to make suggestions toward strategic business solutions.
- Cultivates and deepens client relationships and partnerships that add value to the organization. Addresses customer concerns and ensure high levels of satisfaction.
- Works closely with other departments, including operations, client services, IT, Finance, HR, etc., to ensure alignment with overall business objectives.

LICENSE OR CERTIFICATE REQUIRED
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is preferred
EXPERIENCE OR TRAINING REQUIRED OR PREFERRED
- 5 years of experience in an outside/inside sales position or having proficient knowledge of inside and outside sales constructs, manufacturing environment is preferred, printing industry is a plus
- 5 years of experience in a marketing position or having proficient knowledge of marketing constructs, manufacturing environment is preferred, printing industry is a plus
- 6 years of experience in sales and/or marketing management, manufacturing environment is preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Sales & Marketing, Marketing, Communications, or related field or
- Combination of experience and education
