Summary: This position is responsible for identifying opportunities and implementing solutions to improve the overall efficiency, productivity, and quality of Billing processes, procedures and operations. Work cross functionally to identify, analyze and resolve billing system defects. Participate in and support enterprise and business led initiatives that have an impact on the billing system and related processes. Track, monitor, and measure the effectiveness of business initiatives, programs, projects, and operations. Provide business, technical, workflow analysis, and participate in business until initiatives.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Monitor, maintain and verify billing system processes, procedures and operations are efficient, effective, compliant and accurate.
- Identify opportunities and implement solutions to improve overall efficiency, productivity and quality of the Billing system and related processes, procedures, and operations.
- Work cross functionally to identify, analyze, evaluate, and resolve billing system defects. Conduct impact analysis and participate in the prioritization and implementation of Billing System defect resolutions. Participate in providing requirement and testing direction, clarification and approval.
- Participate in the identification, prioritization and implementation of Billing System enhancements and projects. Provide requirement and testing direction, clarification and approval.
- Define and manage tracking mechanisms for defects and enhancements. Work cross functionally to support the analysis and resolution of system issues, track and monitor frequency and impact, and communicate system issue trends to management.
- Assist in prioritizing small/low complexity defects, enhancements and projects.
- Participate in the analysis and verification of billing system components, processes and procedures pre and post implementation and integration. Conduct UAT on system implementations & integrations to ensure accuracy prior to production
- Participate in the development, monitoring and measurement of success metrics and KPI’s related to operations, business initiatives, programs, and projects.
- Support enterprise and business led initiatives that have an impact on the billing system and related processes
- Maintain a technical aptitude of the systems, processes, and data that impacts billing applications.
- Develop the ability to query system and integrate data, manipulate this data in Microsoft Excel and SQL Server Management Studio, and present meaningful findings to Billing Management and GTS.
What You’ll Bring To The Company:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred. One to Two years of Billing, Accounting or Finance experience is preferred.
Able to work both independently and within a collaborative environment using sound judgment in decision-making. Organized and detail-oriented, able to work well under deadlines in a changing environment and perform multiple tasks effectively and concurrently. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written; strong interpersonal, problem solving and analytical skills required. Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) including advanced proficiency with MS Excel required.
