As a Commercial Lender at Granite Bank, you'll focus on understanding client needs and offering tailored commercial lending options, with an emphasis on serving the diverse businesses in our region.
- Actively prospect, develop and manage new commercial business lending opportunities by networking, relationship-building, and leveraging community ties.
- Review financial statements, tax returns, business plans, and other relevant documents to assess the creditworthiness of potential clients, making informed decisions on loan structuring.
- Design and propose flexible, business-specific loan solutions that meet the needs of our clients while ensuring compliance with Granite Bank's lending policies and industry regulations.
- Work closely with Granite Bank's departments to ensure efficient loan processing and maintain a smooth experience for customers.
- Research market trends and local economic conditions to identify risks and new business opportunities for Granite Bank.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments of potential and existing loans to identify and mitigate risks.
- Maintain compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices throughout the lending process.
