Job description
We are looking for a Chiropractic Receptionist/Assistant to join our team. Granite Chiropractic is a multi-disciplinary office which includes chiropractic care, physical rehabilitation, massage therapy and medical aesthetics.
The ideal candidate has a strong desire to help people. We are in a healthcare environment working with people that have various injuries/ailments. The receptionist should make the person feel welcome whether it is on the phone or in the office. The receptionist wants to help answer questions which include the treatments offered, financial responsibilities, location of the office, etc.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Welcoming patients
- Answering/returning phone calls
- Faxing records when necessary
- Email communication
- Verifying insurance benefits
- Collecting copays, deductibles, coinsurance
- Posting payments to the EHR
- Maintaining office cleanliness
Job Requirements:
- Being a reliable member of the team
- Basic computer knowledge, which includes using word documents and excel spreadsheets
- An interest in health and wellness
- Experience with health insurance and chiropractic care
- Ability to work independently and use problem solving skills
The hours are:
- Monday – 12:30pm-6:00pm
- Tuesday - 9:00am-1pm
- Wednesday – 9:00am-1pm, 2:00pm-6pm
- Friday - 9:00am-1pm, 2:00pm-6pm
