Job Posting: Chiropractic Assistant

Position Summary:
A Chiropractic Assistant supports the chiropractor in delivering excellent patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of the chiropractic office. This role involves administrative tasks, assisting with patient care, and maintaining a welcoming and professional environment for patients.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Care:

  • Greet and check in patients with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Assist patients with completing intake forms and gathering necessary medical history.
  • Educate patients on chiropractic procedures, therapies, and wellness programs.
  • Prepare patients for treatments, including setting them up for therapies.

Administrative Duties:

  • Schedule and confirm appointments, maintaining an organized calendar.
  • Manage patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Handle invoicing and payment processing.
  • Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain an organized and clean reception area.

Office Maintenance:

  • Ensure treatment rooms and equipment are cleaned and stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Assist in ordering and managing inventory of office and medical supplies.
  • Monitor and maintain a hygienic and safe work environment.

Marketing and Outreach

  • Assist in coordinating patient engagement activities, workshops, or community outreach.
  • Manage social media accounts or help with other marketing efforts as required.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or training in healthcare or administration is a plus.
  • Experience: Prior experience in a healthcare, wellness or customer service setting is a plus.
  • Skills:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in office software (e.g., MS Office); additional experience in practice management software is a plus (but not necessary).
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply to enhance communication with diverse patient populations.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, walk, and assist patients with physical mobility as needed.
  • Lift or move light equipment or supplies occasionally (up to 25 lbs).

Hours/Compensation:
