Position Summary:
A Chiropractic Assistant supports the chiropractor in delivering excellent patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of the chiropractic office. This role involves administrative tasks, assisting with patient care, and maintaining a welcoming and professional environment for patients.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care:
- Greet and check in patients with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Assist patients with completing intake forms and gathering necessary medical history.
- Educate patients on chiropractic procedures, therapies, and wellness programs.
- Prepare patients for treatments, including setting them up for therapies.
Administrative Duties:
- Schedule and confirm appointments, maintaining an organized calendar.
- Manage patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Handle invoicing and payment processing.
- Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Maintain an organized and clean reception area.
Office Maintenance:
- Ensure treatment rooms and equipment are cleaned and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Assist in ordering and managing inventory of office and medical supplies.
- Monitor and maintain a hygienic and safe work environment.
Marketing and Outreach
- Assist in coordinating patient engagement activities, workshops, or community outreach.
- Manage social media accounts or help with other marketing efforts as required.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or training in healthcare or administration is a plus.
- Experience: Prior experience in a healthcare, wellness or customer service setting is a plus.
- Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in office software (e.g., MS Office); additional experience in practice management software is a plus (but not necessary).
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, and assist patients with physical mobility as needed.
