What are the responsibilities and job description for the Risk Management Analyst position at Granite Properties?
Position Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all vendor insurance:
- Review Certrax for expirations, exceptions and inactivate vendors in Certrax as needed; requires coordination with Property Experience (PX) on vendor updates.
- Monthly review to ensure Certrax and JDE are in sync.
- Assist PX with review and approval of certificates that fall outside the scope of Certrax.
- Perform OFAC compliance verification on vendors and tenants.
- Manage the claims administration on liability claims, including filing claim, reviewing incident reports, ensuring the Adjuster is following up on a timely basis, tracking of correspondence, and providing backup documentation as needed.
- Upon carrier request, coordinate property visits with carrier and Granite engineering staff and maintain a tracking of carrier recommendations, meet with Granite engineering to review carrier recommendations to determine next step solution.
- Maintain a tracking spreadsheet of all carrier recommendations and completion status.
- Track and verify bills from our national remediation contractor.
- Compile underwriting information for annual program renewal, on all property acquisitions, and other requests as needed.
- Maintain premium allocation spreadsheet and tracking of all insurance additions and verification of premiums.
- Maintain database of all insurance requirements in loans, joint venture agreements and management agreements.
- Ensure certificates of insurance are correct and sent timely at renewal and all requirements are followed.
- Assist Risk and Reporting Manager on litigation and complex property claims with assembling data, follow up, and tracking.
- Responsible for security monitoring:
- Maintain protocols and standards.
- Perform annual review of camera upgrades.
- Provide budget data to property teams as needed.
- Review daily incident reports received from security monitoring and track actionable items from the reports.
- Work with PX on security video requests as needed.

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required; Risk Management specialization preferred.
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Prior experience reviewing/evaluation of insurance certificates for coverage requirements and understanding of endorsements is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to independently move throughout the office and consistently and continuously perform essential job functions.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Travel Required:
Minimal travel, up to 5%.
