SUMMARY DESCRIPTION :
The Food and Beverage (F&B) Manager Directs and coordinates activities of the organization to obtain optimum efficiency and economy of operations and maximize profits by performing the outlined duties personally or through subordinate FOH or BOH supervisors.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS / DUTIES :

- Plans, develops, and implements organization policies and goals.
- Directs hiring and training protocols, leading by example and exhibiting a commitment to hospitality and guest satisfaction.
- Coordinates activities of all departments such as operating, manufacturing, engineering, planning, sales, maintenance or research and development to effect operational efficiency and economy.
- Directs and coordinates promotion of products and services to develop new markets, increase share of market and obtain competitive position in industry.
- Analyzes division or department budget requests to identify areas in which reductions can be made and allocates operating budget.
- Confers with administrative personnel and reviews activity, operating and sales reports to determine changes in programs or operations required.
- Directs preparation of directives to all departments outlining policy, program or operations changes to be implemented.
- Manage Food, Beverage & Labor costs in conjunction with FOH & BOH management teams. Direct teams on cost saving tactics.
- Review monthly P&L statements and strategize response to the findings.
- Promotes organization in industry, manufacturing or trade associations.
- Maintains current knowledge of current industry trends and provides guidance on marketing campaigns and collateral.
- Maintains compliance to all state and federal regulations related to the industry.
- Oversee annual employee reviews of both FOH & BOH employees and managers.
- Manage security of all company assets.
- Train and develop team members to grow into future leadership roles.
