Job Summary:
The Exeter Hotel is seeking an experienced and dynamic Food & Beverage Manager to oversee all aspects of our dining operations. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences, managing daily operations, and driving profitability across all food and beverage outlets. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong leadership skills, and a keen understanding of food and beverage trends.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, bar, room service, and banquet functions.
Lead and inspire a team to deliver high-quality service and guest satisfaction.
Develop and implement service standards, policies, and procedures.
Monitor food and beverage inventory, ordering, and cost control to maintain budgeted expenses.
Work closely with the culinary team to create menus that align with guest preferences and seasonal trends.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
Recruit, train, and mentor front-of-house staff to maintain high performance and morale.
Drive revenue through innovative promotions, events, and marketing initiatives.
Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback to continuously improve service quality.
Collaborate with other department heads to ensure seamless hotel operations.
Experience and Skills:

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in food and beverage management, preferably in a hotel setting.
Strong leadership and team-building skills.
Exceptional customer service and problem-solving abilities.
In-depth knowledge of food and beverage operations, industry trends, and best practices.
Proficiency in budgeting, cost control, and financial management.
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Experience with POS systems and inventory management software.
ServSafe and TIPS certifications preferred.
