Summary:
We are seeking a self-motivated Membership Sales Representative that has an outgoing personality, is easy to talk to, presents themselves as the "face of the club", and can be counted on for a positive uplifting smile or words of encouragement.
This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week. This role supports and reports to the Membership Manager.
Position Summary:
The Membership Sales Representative oversees and drives GSIR's membership program throughout the store including – but not limited to – prospecting and acquiring new members, maintaining the highest level of membership experience, providing necessary services for members, assisting member events, and coaching and influencing all levels and roles within the store.
Essential Functions
- Proactively welcomes customers. Selling new memberships and lockers.
- Provides current members with a unique and exclusive experience while building and nurturing member relationships. Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers, co-workers, and associates.
- Coaches, leads, and models the highest customer service expectations while incorporating membership and locker benefits into conversations while motivating fellow staff to do the same.
- Answers customer questions, handles customer concerns, and escalates customer issues for resolution when appropriate.
- Executing strategies to help meet key membership metrics.
- Effectively presents information and responds to questions from managers, associates, customers, and the public.
- Proficiency with PC-based word processing, spreadsheets, data-based management and electronic point of sale and inventory management systems.
- Provides service to all areas of the store based on business needs.
- Other duties as assigned.

Experience and Qualifications
- A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in sales, retail, member services and/or customer service
- Must be 18 years or older.

Flexibility to occasionally work off-hours for special events.

Pay Range:
Pay Potential up to $69,220 per year.
