Granite Countertop Installer

Job Summary:

Granite Works Stone Design is seeking an experienced Stone Countertop Installer to join our growing team. This candidate will assist with the installation of high-quality stone countertops, including granite, quartz, and marble, in residential and commercial settings. Pay Ranges from $20.00 - $30.00 per hour (wage contingent on experience)

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Assist in the delivery and installation of stone countertops, ensuring precision and quality
• Perform onsite measurements and verify dimensions to ensure accurate installations
• Handle and transport heavy stone materials safely and efficiently
• Operate and maintain tools and equipment, such as saws, grinders, and polishing tools
• Follow and execute project instructions from management team
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including job sites and vehicles
• Address customer concerns and communicate professionally during installations
• Ensure all installations meet Granite Works Stone Design's standards of quality and craftsmanship
• Take direction and constructive feedback to improve performance
• Positively promote company culture
• Perform all other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:

• 1 or more years of experience in stone countertop installation or related construction work
• Familiarity with handling and installing granite, quartz, and marble materials
• A valid driver’s license with minimal incidents in the last 3 years is required
• Ability to use power tools and read blueprints or job specifications
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship
• Able to lift and handle heavy materials (75 lbs. or more) and perform physically demanding tasks
• Able to crouch, bend, climb stairs/ladders, and stand for long periods
• Comfortable working in various indoor and outdoor environments
• Ability to work successfully with limited supervision
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to communicate in both English and Spanish is a plus
