- Fabricate stone countertops using state-of-the-art machinery, tools, and hand-finishing techniques.
- Read and interpret blueprints, templates, and work orders to ensure fabrication accuracy.
- Cut, polish, and edge stone materials to meet specifications and quality standards.
- Handle and move stone slabs and fabricated pieces safely and efficiently.
- Inspect finished pieces to ensure they meet quality standards and customer expectations.
- Maintain and clean fabrication equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with installers to troubleshoot and resolve any fit or installation issues.
- Organize and maintain the workspace to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
- Operate automated CNC machines and hand tools with precision and care.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials, including raw slabs and fabricated pieces.
- Experience in stone countertop fabrication or a related field is required.
- Knowledge of working with granite, quartz, marble, and other stone materials.
- Familiarity with CNC equipment and hand tools for cutting and polishing stone.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Physical ability to lift and maneuver heavy materials safely.
- Valid driver’s license with minimal incidents in the last three years (for travel to job sites if needed).
- Ability to lift or move heavy stone slabs and fabricated pieces regularly.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Comfortable working in varying conditions, including warehouse and fabrication shop environments.
