We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented IT Operations Administrator to join our IT department. This is an entry-level role, ideal for someone with a degree or master's in Information Technology, who is looking to gain hands-on experience in IT operations. In this role, you will assist the team with supporting day-to-day IT activities, developing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), helping with recruitment, ensuring project deadlines are met, and supporting the setup of live events. You will also be involved in managing and tracking the ticketing system, including ticket resolution and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- SOP Support: Assist management in creating, updating, and maintaining SOPs for IT operations and support processes.
- Hiring Support: Provide administrative support to the IT management team during the recruitment process, including scheduling interviews, reviewing resumes, and coordinating communication with candidates.
- Project Deadline Support: Help ensure that IT projects are on track by assisting with deadline management, providing reminders, and supporting task completion.
- Live Event Setup Support: Assist the IT team during live events by helping set up AV equipment, ensuring network connectivity, and providing troubleshooting assistance as needed during the event.
- Ticketing System Management: Support the management and tracking of support tickets using the organization's ticketing system. Ensure that tickets are logged, categorized, and escalated to the appropriate team members as necessary.
- Technical Troubleshooting and Support: Assist in basic troubleshooting of IT issues and escalate more complex problems to senior IT team members.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain records related to ticketing solutions, live event setups, and project progress. Generate reports to track performance metrics and ticket resolution.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other teams to ensure smooth operations and provide support to team members when needed to meet deadlines and resolve issues.
Qualifications:
- Education: A degree or master's in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
- Experience: No prior professional experience is required. This role is ideal for a recent IT graduate eager to learn and grow in the IT field.
- Technical Skills: A basic understanding of IT systems, computer hardware, and software. Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, Zendesk, Freshdesk) is a plus but not mandatory.
- Project Management Skills: Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage and track multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Communication Skills: Clear verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members, management, and end-users.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic technical and operational issues.
- Adaptability: A quick learner who is comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
