The Opportunity
We are looking for a passionate and experienced landscape professional who thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing role. This position offers the opportunity to focus on your love for landscaping without the administrative burdens of running a business. Ideal candidates will have extensive knowledge of Florida horticulture, including plant and turf care, as well as strong leadership and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain strong client relationships.
- Supervise, train, and manage six or more crew leaders and their teams.
- Ensure the proper care and maintenance of Florida plant material, turf, and landscapes.
- Oversee the application of fertilizers, fungicides, and chemicals in accordance with industry best practices.
- Manage irrigation systems, low-voltage lighting, and troubleshooting as needed.
- Read and interpret detailed landscape plans to ensure precise execution.
- Measure properties and prepare comprehensive proposals for clients.
- Coordinate projects from proposal to execution, ensuring seamless workflow and service delivery.
- Maintain proactive and consistent communication with clients to address needs and expectations.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience in landscape management with a strong understanding of Florida’s unique horticulture.
- Ability to lead, train, and manage multiple teams effectively.
- Strong knowledge of irrigation systems, low-voltage lighting, and landscape maintenance techniques.
- Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Certifications related to the landscape industry are highly preferred.
