Our client is seeking to find an experienced Litigation LAA with bankruptcy experience to join their team in their St. Paul or Minneapolis office. Please submit your resume for confidential consideration.
DESCRIPTION
· Prepare correspondence, draft court documents, and agreements, including document comparisons and conversions, manipulation of pdf documents, editing and scanning.
· Electronically file litigation pleadings and other documents with state and , federal and appellate courts, both locally and nationally. Review electronic filing rules and guides to ensure compliance with each court.
· Handle docketing of court scheduling orders, briefing schedules and other court mandated conferences, dates and other litigation requirements.
· Maintain electronic client files, including electronic pleadings and indices, as well as original pleadings and substantial client documents. Organize and update OneNote notebooks and other materials for attorney use.
· File emails and attachments into client files and assist attorneys with inbox organization.
· Review, edit and finalize attorney and paralegal time entries and manage client invoices.
· Process conflict reports and open new client matters.
· Assist department with in office responsibilities, including managing incoming mail and documents.
· Provide general legal administrative support, including calendar management, scheduling and arranging attorney and client meetings, conferences and depositions, responding to and handling routine correspondence and making reservations/appointments.
· Assist with practice business development events and other practice business development activities
· Organize and submit travel and business expenses.
· Monitor and maintain professional memberships, CLE reporting, and state license registration.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
· At least two years of business litigation or bankruptcy legal administrative assistant experience in a law firm.
· Organize and prioritize work, and follow through with assignments to completion.
· Excellent grammar and proofreading skills, including attention to detail and accuracy.
· Excellent communication skills.
· Ability to work within a team environment and work well under pressure, especially with court deadlines.

Salary : $65,000 - $80,000
