Position Summary
People & Culture Interns will participate in an 8-week rotational program through varies areas of human resources: Office of the NMP – People, People Experience, DEI&B, Community Building, and Colleague Learning & Org. Effectiveness.
Office of the National Managing Principal - People: gain visibility to the overall strategy and operational functions
- Participate in People and Culture programs
- Assist with maintenance of our P&C Canvas (intranet) site
- Assist with ad hoc reporting and analysis requests
People Experience: gain insight into the inner workings of the HRBP role and being on the front lines with our internal stakeholders, and understand the operational aspects of supporting the firm from a P&C perspective.
- Assist with inbox maintenance to ensure questions are responded to timely
- Assist with year-end talent reviews to keep track of feedback and next steps
- Pull compensation reports to support the year-end process
- Assist with ad hoc reporting and analysis requests
Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging: understand DEI&B and Culture, and how that plays out firmwide
- Contribute to the design and launch of different DEI&B initiatives
- Support the many different Business Resource Groups (BRGs) to help reinforce a culture inclusive of DEI&B
Community Building: understand the efforts needed to recruit and welcome talent to the firm
- Helping to manage the programming and process for our ECS summer interns (all service lines)
- Candidate sourcing
- Helping to manage the Sophomore rotation program (all service lines)
- Aligning fall programming and planning at universities with the budget
- Planning fall events on campus for university recruiting and our ECS professionals
Colleague Learning & Org. Effectiveness: understand org effectiveness and the designing and delivery of Learning programs
- Support learning and performance processes and programs
- Assist with CPE reporting/tracking
Additional responsibilities may include:
- May assist with the talent acquisition process
- General P&C support as requested
People and Culture Qualifications:
- Strong performing student academically with interest in human resources and has a creative mind
- Minimum major and overall GPA of 3.0/4.0 preferred
- Pursuing degrees in: Human Resources, Administration, Psychology, or other related degree
- Leader that demonstrates values of collaboration, leadership, excellence, agility, respect, and responsibility in alignment with GT culture
- Ability to work virtually, if necessary
