What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Private Equity Associate position at Graphite?
We are looking for an experienced Associate or Senior Associate to join our team on a temporary basis, with the potential to engage for up to a year. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in the PE space, with experience in portfolio management, financial analysis, and transaction execution. This role will involve working closely with senior team members on various portfolio companies and investment activities.
Must be willing to work on-site in NYC Tuesday-Thursday
Key Responsibilities:
- Portfolio Management: Work on managing and overseeing portfolio companies, including attending board meetings and engaging with management teams.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct financial modeling, due diligence, and valuation analysis for current and prospective investments.
- Transaction Execution: Assist in the execution of M&A transactions, including add-ons and financing activities.
- Reporting & Presentation: Prepare reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders, including investors and management teams.
- Strategic Initiatives: Support strategic initiatives and special projects as needed, contributing to the overall growth and performance of the portfolio.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- 3-7 years of experience in private equity, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with financial modeling and valuation.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Experience working with portfolio companies and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience working as an independent consultant (strongly preferred)
Salary : $90 - $110
