We are currently seeking a Construction Administrator to join our team and support our operations with expertise in construction bookkeeping, accounting, and administrative management.
Job Responsibilities:
• Manage all aspects of construction bookkeeping and accounting, including accounts payable, receivable, and payroll.
• Ensure compliance with prevailing wage requirements, certified payroll reporting, and other regulatory obligations.
• Utilize Foundation Accounting Software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) to maintain financial records and generate reports.
• Assist in the preparation and processing of job cost reports, contracts, change orders, and lien releases.
• Communicate with subcontractors, vendors, and project managers to maintain accurate financial records.
• Track project expenses, budgets, and financial documentation to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
• Maintain and organize project-related documentation, including invoices, insurance certificates, and compliance paperwork.
• Provide administrative support to the construction team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in construction administration, bookkeeping, or accounting within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of prevailing wage requirements and certified payroll reporting.
• Proficiency in Foundation Accounting Software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working in Public/Prevailing Wage and Commercial Construction.
• Familiarity with AIA billing and job costing.
• Knowledge of construction contracts and lien laws.
