What are the responsibilities and job description for the Table Games Dealer - Full Time position at Graton Resort & Casino?
Position Summary :
To deal game efficiently and accurately, providing friendly and proactive interaction with all guests and Team Members. Perform responsibilities in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures.
Essential Functions :
1. Responsible for practicing, supporting, and promoting Graton Resort & Casino's culture and demonstrating Service Standards at all times.
2. Knowledge in all aspects of the games dealt.
3. Create an atmosphere of hospitality and friendliness toward guests and team members.
4. Compliance of company and departmental policies and procedures.
5. Ensure proper cleanliness of assigned game.
6. Ensure equipment is in good working order.
7. Ensure game protection.
8. Ensure good game pace for all players.
9. Ensure payouts are made quickly and accurately.
10. Fill and credit tables by verification of cheques.
11. Opening and closing tables by verification of all cheque inventory.
Minimum Qualifications :
1. Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form.
2. One year experience and / or completion of the Graton Resort & Casino Dealers School with a passed audition.
3. Have excellent customer service skills.
4. Have basic money handling skills.
5. Know and comply with all Gaming regulations.
Physical Requirements :
1. Ability to sit, stand, bend, reach and twist over a table for up to two hours at a time.
2. Ability to lift a minimum of 5 lbs.
3. Visual and auditory ability to identify any unusual or unethical practices that jeopardize the integrity of the game.
4. Have the manual dexterity necessary to shuffle and pitch cards.
