Lab Assistant (Chemical)

• Job Title- Lab Technician
• Location- Northern Stacks Drive, Fridley, MN 55421
• Duration- 12 months - Could extend
• Pay- $24.50/hr on W2 without benefits
• Timing - 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or Business Administration preferred
• PC skill: Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Able to manage multiple duties simultaneously; meeting established deadlines
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs several times per shift
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Preparation and evaluation of coating formulations
• Document findings and communicate results using programs such as Word and Excel
• Inspects and performs routine maintenance on equipment
• Maintain appropriate inventory of chemicals and/or supplies necessary for the completion of experiments

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $24.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Morning shift

Experience:

• Chemical hazards: 1 year (Required)

Work Location: In person
