- Location: Windfall, IN 46076
- Duration: 6 Months Contract (Extendable)
- Pay: $17.50/hr on w2 without benefits
- Timing : 7:30 AM TO 4:00 PM Mon to Fri
- Client : Agriscience
Day to Day: Placing wooden garden stakes in the fields, pulling samples from Wheat fields & loading into bags; Pull weeds in Field; Plant Sampling (cut leaves & ears and place into bin to take samples); cross pollinations. Inside Work = Take Inventory, Computer work: scanning bar codes. Tasks can change day to day and be fast paced.
Responsibilities:
- As with the Field and Processing Worker, can be responsible for performing a wide range of tasks or a specific task depending on the stage of the seasonal research program.
- Tasks may include: Field research operations related to planting, thinning, weeding, pollinations and sample harvest. Sample processing operations including preparation of supplies, sorting, scanning, weighing, preparation for shipping and seed packaging.
- General facility operations including general clean-up, organization of samples and supplies, and other routine tasks as they arise.
- The Research Assistant may also perform additional tasks as requested by the supervising Field Technician.
