: Program Manager

Location: Remote

Status: Full-time exempt


Position Description:

Gray Analytics is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Program Manager to lead and manage complex commercial clients within the commercial division of Gray Analytics. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of commercial projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives, client expectations, and industry standards. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing programs across multiple functions, strong communication skills, and a deep understanding of the commercial space industry


Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Management: Lead and oversee multiple commercial programs, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet performance goals. Manage the entire program lifecycle from initiation to closure.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, legal, finance, and operations to ensure alignment across all aspects of the program. Communicate regularly with internal and external stakeholders, providing updates and managing expectations.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring that the company delivers value through tailored solutions. Act as the primary point of contact for commercial clients.
  • Risk & Issue Management: Identify, assess, and manage program risks and issues. Proactively implement mitigation strategies to address potential challenges that could impact project success.
  • Budget and Resource Management: Develop and manage program budgets and resource plans, ensuring that programs are executed efficiently while maintaining financial performance and cost control.
  • Quality Control & Compliance: Ensure that all programs comply with internal standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. Ensure the highest quality deliverables and adherence to timelines.
  • Continuous Improvement: Lead efforts to continuously improve program management processes, identifying areas for greater efficiency, cost savings, and overall program effectiveness.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive program documentation, including status reports, project timelines, and risk assessments. Present reports to senior leadership and clients, tracking KPIs and overall program health.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Aerospace, or a related field (Master's degree or relevant certifications is a plus).
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in program or project management, preferably within the commercial space, aerospace, or related high-tech industries.
  • Proficient in program management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, or similar platforms).
  • Strong experience in managing large-scale, cross-functional programs with multiple stakeholders.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification and/or a CMMC RP designation are preferred.

Other Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with executives, clients, and team members.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage complex schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
  • Knowledge of space industry trends, technologies, and regulations is highly preferred.
