What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Manager position at SPS?
Functional Responsibility: SPS is seeking a Program Manager with a proven track record of program planning and execution, team coordination, risk management, budget and resource management, performance tracking and reporting, and achieving 100% customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities also include:
• Coordinates, monitors and manages ownership of all aspects of the program(s), i.e. scheduling, pricing, and technical performance.
• Aiding in the negotiation of contracts and contractual changes and coordinating preparations of proposals, plans, specifications, and financial conditions of contracts.
• Develops and ensures adherence to master plans and schedules, develops solutions to program problems, and directs work of incumbents assigned to program from various departments.
• Oversee the cost, schedule, and performance of contract and subcontract personnel. Ensures projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Acts as advisor to program team regarding projects, tasks, and operations.
• Leads and directs the work of others.
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
• Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Performs a variety of complex tasks.
• A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
• Establish sustainable operations schedule: weekly, monthly, and quarterly
• Manages and executes the staffing schedule and support ramp up plans.
• Utilize Customer satisfaction surveys in managing customer relationships
• Develops new business and expands product line.
• Maintain and ensure compliance within contractual Labor Category requirements, QMS and all aspects of the program.
• Adhere to the company’s AS9100 and QMS policies, procedures and guidelines.
Education/Skills:
• 10 years of related experience.
• Bachelor's degree in applicable field or 20 years of experience in a related area.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance.
• PMP certification is preferred, not required.
• Production experience is preferred and proficient in MS Project.
