Who we want... (Requirements)
- Applicable candidates should have a bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science, or foreign equivalent, or relevant experience in industrial automation; 10 years experience
- Responsibilities include design, development, and implementation of PLC / HMI based control and automation systems for various customers. Candidates must possess the skills to manage and implement industrial projects from design through commissioning using current technology.
- Must have excellent PLC (Rockwell / Siemens) programming skills. A strong background with DCS platforms, such as DeltaV, Foxboro / Schneider, or Honeywell is considered a plus but not required.
- Ideal candidates must also have strong HMI programming skills in either the Rockwell FactoryTalk View, Ignition, or Aveva platforms.
- Applicable candidates should have experience in standard project management practices, including project scope, budget, goals, technical and functional requirements. Scope and budget balance with customer needs and expectations from design through commissioning and long-term support.
- Candidates should be able to complete projects without help from others but may also be responsible for managing multiple projects, vendors, customer relationships and larger teams. They may be responsible for developing the technical skills of junior engineers.
- The position will include customer and vendor interaction at a functional and technical level, candidates must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.

- Must be willing and able to wear standard personal protective equipment and comply with customer good manufacturing practices.
- Travel is a regular expectation of this role and depends upon the location of projects and customers, the stage of project execution, and your role in the project. Travel may also be required for annual company meetings and some training
- Project-based travel to customer sites and team check-ins can range 15-25% during the design phase, 0-10% during the implementation phase, and 40-75% during installment and commissioning phases.

Qualifications

A reasonable estimate of the current range is $125,000 to $150,000.
