Gray Construction Services is seeking a qualified field superintendent. Based in Trenton, Florida, our company has been providing commercial construction services to the North Florida area for the past 25 years. We maintain excellent relationships with our clients, subcontractors, and design professionals and have remained small enough as a company to feel like a family, and large enough to handle the most complex projects in the area while serving both the public and private sectors.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Collaborate and communicate positively with client, engineer, architect, subcontractors, city/county personnel, etc.
- Utilize project tracking software programs
- Plan construction processes
- Schedule / Coordinate all required inspections
- Coordinate subcontractors and vendors in a time efficient manner
- Track material stock and orders
- Implement safety and quality guidelines at all times
- Ensure the jobsite remains safe, clean, and orderly
- Resolve on-site issues and emergencies
Qualifications and Skills
- 5 years of commercial construction field experience
- Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or similar field; combination of education/work experience will be considered in lieu of degree - minimum of 7-10 years experience
- Knowledge of local requirements, standard of quality, safety, and health guidelines for jobsite
- First Aid Training, OSHA Certifications (10 hour / 30 hour) required
- Knowledge and understanding of construction operations and processes
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Experience with Procore and Oracle / Primavera software programs preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
