What we expect... (Essential Functions)
- Prepare accounting related entries, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and journal entries
- Complete bank reconciliations for a variety of entities and accounts
- Assist in managing cash balances within online treasury product
- Reconcile and analyze balance sheet accounts
- Responsible for the preparation of internal financial statements for multiple companies
- Compile and distribute intercompany transactions to subsidiary companies
- Maintain fixed asset software and related entries and reconciliations
- Gather financial information from subsidiary companies for monthly and quarterly consolidated reporting
- Assist with compiling tax related information for federal and state income tax returns and property tax returns
- Provide support for the annual financial statement audit and any other periodic reviews and inspections
- Support other areas of department as needed
- Work on special projects as necessary
Who we want… (Requirements)
A bachelors’ degree in accounting/finance/business and three (3) years of experience in financial accounting; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must possess proficient computer skills including the ability to utilize a cloud-based integrated accounting system, spreadsheets, word processing and e-mail applications. Must be detail-oriented, highly organized, possess excellent communication skills and be able to coordinate efforts with internal Gray personnel. CMIC experience a plus.
Must be physically present in the Lexington office. Potential hybrid work schedule.
